-
The warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable.
-
To make a warranty claim, customers must contact the authorised reseller from whom the goods were purchased or contact Aglaé directly. Proof of purchase or equivalent documentation is required. (e.g. Tax Invoice, Handover documentation for new homes) Aglaé may request photographs or other supporting information to assess the claim.
-
The customer is responsible for any costs associated with lodging a warranty claim unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law or agreed by Aglaé.
-
In the case of installed products, Aglaé requires reasonable and unobstructed access to inspect the relevant products, fittings and fixtures for any warranty claim, as well as to perform any necessary warranty repairs. To the extent permitted by law, Aglaé shall not be liable for any consequential loss or damage arising from the customer's failure to provide such access.
-
This warranty covers the repair or, at the Aglaé's discretion, the replacement of any products found to be defective due to defects in materials or workmanship. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or, where applicable, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand). In fulfilling warranty obligations, Aglaé reserves the right to provide minor components (e.g. Handles, aerators, buttons, dress rings, spindles, cartridges and seals) as 'Parts Only' to the customer as part of replacement warranty. Unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law, this warranty does not cover labour costs or any additional parts supplied by a third party that has not been approved in writing by Aglaé.
-
In the event that the original products are discontinued or no longer available, Aglaé reserves the right to provide a replacement with equivalent current or available products, making all reasonable efforts and applying professional judgement to closely match the appearance and specifications of the original products.
-
To the extent permitted by law, Aglaé shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from the use or installation of the products. Unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law, Aglaé is not responsible for costs associated with making warranty claims, including removal, reinstallation, travel, postage costs or loss of income.

The Surface finish warranty applies only to manufacturing defects in the decorative finish. It does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, scuffs, abrasions, chips, dents, impact damage, misuse, improper installation, inadequate maintenance, or damage caused by abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, mineral deposits or environmental conditions. As metallic and coloured finishes naturally age over time, minor variations in colour, patina, lustre or appearance resulting from normal use are not considered manufacturing defects. Cosmetic changes including scratching, spotting, staining, discolouration, tarnishing or surface marks are regarded as normal characteristics of the finish and are not covered under this warranty.
-
Aglaé reserves the right to charge a reasonable inspection or service fee where the reported fault is found not to be covered by this warranty.
-
This warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and, where applicable, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand).
-
